Linux Distro
Ubuntu Linux more than 8 million users
Apparently, according to the marketing machine of Canonical Ltd.. Ubuntu already has a base of more than 8 million users. In the middle of last year, the conference Ubuntu Live, Mark Shuttleworth had estimated the number of users between 6 million and 12 million. That number would have been reduced in an advertisement focused on the skills of Canonical to 8 million mentioned above.
Unfortunately this measure is rather complicated by the fact that this operating system can be installed freely again and again in multiple systems.
Houston: Fedora has a problem
The next day 14 past Team Infrastructure Project Fedora sent a message to his mailing list of announcements saying they were investigating "a matter" mysterious in their systems and that this process could result in a disruption in several of its services. At the same time also announced that its users do not download or update any additional packages on their computers with Fedora.

What Ray does "Distro"?
Something that when I arrived at ambient Linux cost me put on his head was this:
Everybody in Linux speaks of "the distro." That distro this, that this distro another, that this distro is better than another distro, that this distro is little girl, that this distro is for men.
As you use Windows would not know what was meant by "Distro", but is not so difficult to understand.
Let us start by the essentials
