Due to issues with the Sugar user interface, the OLPC project is considering replacing the backend with Windows XP, while still keeping the horrendous Sugar interface.Yes, you read that correctly, and no that does not make sense. Unfortunately it is just one silly decision in a string of many which have managed to doom the OLPC project to near certain failure. I'll have to admit that I was never optimistic about the prospects of this project, but this is an outcome that I never anticipated.Sigh.
