amaroK 2.1 Beta 2: media player for Linux with opportunities to download jacket, organizing collections, automatically promptin

Rich media player for Linux with opportunities to download jacket, organizing collections, automatically prompting songs depending on time and put in others. Integrate with k3b for easy recording on your MP3-panies both AudioCD, and DataCD. Equalizer supports additional plugin for organizing jacket, visualizations and much more. Changes in the new version include automatic download of attachments by KNewStuff, reorganized sidebar, support PostgreSQL, DCOP expanded opportunities for management of external scripts and programs.
Among the music players for Linux, Amarok is one that offers more features and functionalities. The new version was being expected, but has finally been published. Amarok 2.0 represents a conceptual leap compared to the previous editions and it shows in almost all aspects of implementation.
amaroK 2.1 Beta 2 has been rescheduled to take advantage of the latest technologies available in KDE 4, including Solid, Phonon and Plasma. This has also meant a complete redesign of the user interface which, in my opinion, now seems a little cluttered with options.
The purpose of this change of interface is a lot more information to the user, in addition to a customizable. Thus, we see that we can select the music you're listening to: song lyrics, artist information, other related albums ...
Another important change came with the integration of online services such as Jamendo, Magnatune, Last.fm or Shoutcast. Moreover, this will be extended by scripts or applets, so the collection of data and services available will only increase.
For now, no Amarok 2.0 has all the features available in previous versions, but these will be added in later versions. We can enjoy this new Linux version, while the versions for Windows and Mac OS X are still in beta.
