Damn Small Linux 4.4.8: Another of the smaller Linux distributions
Another of the smaller Linux distributions - only 50 MB. Damn Small Linux can be launched from CD (live CD), mini CD or the USB-memory. Also could be installed in the directory's existing operating system (yeah, right - works in Windows). Regardless of their size Damn Small Linux is a full-featured desktop graphical environment program for listening to music (XMMS), browser (Dilo), mail client (Sylpheed), communicator (Naim), web server and others.

It's available a new version of the final and stable 4.xxx branch of the popular and successful live-cd Damn Small, namely Damn Small Linux 4.4.8.
Damn Small is a small live-cd only 50 megs which was born as an experiment to see how many packages was room in a small space with the environment more friendly as possible. Its operation is optimal, based on knoppix (debian), uses fluxbox as graphical environment and is particularly recommended to start it at any pc, for old or weak it is. Makes both their use cd, as its installation on a usb pen or on your hard drive.
