OneSwarm 0.6.9 for Linux: File sharing with privacy

OneSwarm 0.6.9 for Linux is interesting, new software created in the University of Washington. Essentially this is a brand new R2R technology like bittorrent with the difference that allows for complete anonymity.
Protocols in the idea of BitTorrent and Gnutella file-sharing is not happening to anyone who requests them. But thus the activity of one user can be followed by third (interested) parties. OneSwarm 0.6.9 for Linux creators claim that their project back control of security of data shared in the hands of consumers themselves.
The technology works in the following way: instead of sharing the information on to declare publicly and without any possibility of user control, using OneSwarm 0.6.9 for Linux deducted each can determine the status of shared files - public for sharing with friends or to share only with certain people. The creators of this process OneSwarm 0.6.9 for Linux called F2F (friend-to-friend), by analogy with the P2P (peer-to-peer).
Another advantage is the open source software and its accessibility to all operating systems. On the download page you can find versions for Mac OS, Windows and Linux.
This year, the struggle of managing rights against P2P is going to be beset, not only in Spain but in many other countries. Never mind that in many of these file sharing is legal or sharing files with licenses that not only allow, but support it.
While one hand is needed against activist, on the other technology can also help. For example, applications such as OneSwarm 0.6.9 for Linux, which implements a protocol file sharing anonymous and private. In fact, it takes the concept of P2P, peer-to-peer, the F2F, friend-to-friend.
This application works directly in the browser and lets you define how and with whom we share our data and can make them public, share them with all our friends, or do so only with a group of them, that while preserving the privacy of users.
OneSwarm 0.6.9 for Linux is compatible with Bittorrent, although in this case is a client that does not add more privacy features. It also incorporates file transcoding, so you can preview the content of these directly from your browser.
For now this is a somewhat experimental software, but it's free, open source and is available for both Windows and Mac OS X and Linux.
