Samba 3.4.3: Sharing files between Windows and Linux

New version of the popular server for sharing files or printers for Linux / UNIX, a protocol Server Message Block (SMB). This protocol is used by Windows-based computers to share files (file share) and printers (printer share).
The SMB protocol is used by Microsoft Windows to share disks and printers.
Using the Samba software package, UNIX machines (including Linux) can share disks and printers with Windows servers.
There are four basic things you can do with Samba:
Share a Linux drive with Windows machines
Sharing a Windows drive with Linux machines
Sharing a Linux printer with Windows machines
Sharing a Windows printer with Linux machines
In addition to other more advanced configurations such as PDC (Primary Domain Control.)
