Appeared RC version 1 new Amarok 2.0 - the popular music player for Unix systems. It has a quarter of views with KDE and is designed to test the functionality available later in the final version.

The project is entering a phase of freezing, which means that the set of functions, which will be in the final version will not be very different from what we find in RC1. Compared to the last test release adds the possibility of deleting and editing names through a playlist by using the keyboard. Basic and advanced views are synchronized while editing a file, the second of which contain from now on the Remove button. In addition to this there has been a feature allowing the import statistics from iTunes, with information about the path can be changed again from the files, while the option called "Show active tracks" has been moved from the contextual menu toolbar to a playlist.
