Does Eric Raymond really believe that Micorosoft's bad behavior should affect how their licenses are approved/dissaproved by OSI?This doesn't really make sense to me. We have known all along that Microsoft is evil. Why should their current actions with regards to their "Open" XML standard be any better or worse than their past misdeeds?The new licenses should be approved or disapproved based solely on their merit. Then we should encourage MS to use the ones that are beneficial to OSS. We all know that Ballmer and crew will not do this with their document standards, but that should be surprising to noone at this point.And seriously, does anyone really believe that the OpenDocument standards are that much better? From what I understand the spreadsheet spec is particularly lacking.
