Don yer fedoras, 10 alpha has been previewed!
Phoronix has released a detailed preview of Fedora 10 Alpha 1. Its an exciting release as the new features within Fedora 9 (EXT4, Upstart as a SysV init replacement, PackageKit integration, etc) should settle in fully, along with a significantly revamped user interface. The new release looks exciting with the integration of KDE 4.1, a significantly rewritten and improved PulseAudio sound subsystem for improved compatibility and performance, improved HTPC (Home Theatre PC) support via improved LIRC integration, as well as significant new security enhancements (the new graphical security audit and intrusion detection tool sounds like a welcome advancement).I wonder how this will compare with the forthcoming Ubuntu 8.10?
