Linux Mint 8 developed in Launchpad and GitHub
Linux Mint is one of the distributions for the desktop based on Ubuntu more careful and friendly, with even an active Hispanic community. Now, as it prepares to develop its next version 8 "Helena", Clem Lefebvre, lead developer of Linux Mit revealed some details about the new tools of his team.
Such as Launchpad, collaborative development platform recently released by Canonical, Linux Mint used primarily to monitor their errors (bug tracking), translations and drafts (blueprints), but have plans to take the rest of the services offered for other work soon.
Interestingly, Linux Mint does not use for developing their own profits hosting service Launchpad source code, based stacking in the version control system distributed Bazaar (bzr) sponsored by Canonical, but instead the service GitHub based obviously in Git.
This is the page for Linux Mint in Launchpad and is another of Linux Mint on GitHub.
